Located on beautiful Guysborough Harbour, Skipping Stone Crafts & Gallery specializes in fine Nova Scotian art and crafts. Housed in the historic Hart Building (circa 1913) across the courtyard from The Rare Bird Pub, Skipping Stone’s dominant architectural feature is a spectacular original wood staircase in the centre of the building that ascends to a light filled Gallery with a panoramic view of the Harbour. Nearly 3,000 sq. ft of exhibition space make Skipping Stone one of Nova Scotia’s leading gallery spaces and a contributor to the province’s rich cultural heritage.
